Here’s how to get there:
FROM NEW YORK CITY (and downstate NY) Approximately 2 1/2 hours from mid-Manhattan to Roxbury, NY.
Take the George Washington Bridge to the Palisades Parkway-North. Connect with I-287/87 (New York State Thruway) North to “Kingston” exit, Rt. 28. Take NY 28 west 32 mi. to Margaretville to NY 30 north, then 13 mi to Roxbury. As you approach Roxbury proper, use any available street parking near Vega Mountain Road.
From Albany, take I-90 west to I-88 west to NY30 south 35 mi to Roxbury.
From Kingston, NY28 west 32 mi to Margaretville to NY30 north 13 mi to Roxbury.
From Oneonta, take NY23 west 38 mi to NY30 south 7 mi to Roxbury.
From New Jersey, I-287 North or Palisades Parkway North; see above for further directions.
From New England: Take I-84 West to I-87 North (NY State Thruway) See above for further directions.
